Launch!
May 12th 2015
Hello everybody! It’s been a long journey, but we have finally arrived. Revamp is ready for launch. Last August, I don't think any of us imagined this idea would take us so far. It’s been an exhilarating adventure, sustained with hard work, and long nights, but we’re all proud of what we’ve accomplished and ready to take on whatever comes next. As Revamp begins its new journey, we’d like to take some time to reflect on the road getting here.
Â
Working in design build industries, we often needed a modern, low-maintenance product for a number of different architectural applications. We wanted something that was just as, if not more functional than the current products out there, but still allowed us to incorporate artistic design into our projects. Metal panels stood out as the answer. They were easy to install, unlike wood, they never had to be re-stained, and they were the perfect canvas for functional, artistic expression. However, the process was exhausting and expensive. We had to find an architect to design the panels. Then we had to endure the ordeal of having the panels designed and redesigned to meet our vision and we still had to go hunting for a manufacturer to make our tiny batch. Why was no one making these products? We were sure we weren’t the only ones who were interested and, frustrated. Why not do it ourselves? In that moment, Revamp was born.
Â
Fledgling concept in hand, we needed to decide what direction we wanted to go with Revamp’s identity and art.

DesignSpike’s work was instrumental in helping us crystallize our vision and integrate it into our website.

We then branched out to Cor-Ten (rusted steel) material and had the opportunity to test it on this stunning mountain retreat in Idaho.
Â
Due to weight concerns, we added aluminum to our material options for panels and installed some for one of our first commercial clients, Revel 77

It is so exciting to finally reveal the fruits of our labor to our community. We would never be here if it wasn’t for the incredible support of our community. We’d like to thank all of those who have supported us along the way, our consultants and most of all, our family and friends.
