Revamp Panels, LLC. is seeking talented, problem-solving individuals to join our design team. These individuals will bridge the gap from idea to solution, fully resolving design intent, for product fabrication.

 

Full-time (40hr) Employment

M-TH 8a-6p, F 8a-12p

(Regular, predictable attendance required)

Salary starting at $45k/yr.

 

Qualifications

Strong SOLIDWORKS CAD skills to create 3D and 2D drawing output
Strong verbal, writing, and visual communication skills
Well-organized and detail oriented
Effective time management and ability to prioritize job tasks
Strong understanding and ability to communicate 3-dimensional concepts for review
Good teamworking skills

Education:

Associates degree in field of Architecture or Mechanical Engineering or experience in equivalent or related manufacturing or product design (min. 2 years of experience)

Experience:

Efficient use of SOLIDWORKS, AutoCAD, and/or Revit software
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Adobe PDF
Application of mathematical concepts including fractions, ratios, and proportions
Fundamental understanding of product drawing documentation using CAD/industry/company standards
Fundamental understanding of fabrication processes

 

Principal Responsibilities & Duties

Quickly adopt company CAD standards and file management processes
Work with CAD Manager and other design team to produce 2D drawing documents from 3D models using SOLIDWORKS
Develop skills to identify and communicate potential design conflicts and resolve with Design Team/CAD Manager/Director
Research design solutions and product information
Attend and engage in project kick-off meetings
Develop skills to accurately review and redline shop drawing documents
Understand reviewer comments and execute revisions
Develop skills to prepare product design drawings and documentation for fabrication
Develop good workflow and CAD skills to manage multiple project tasks
Develop understanding of company fabrication standards and ability

Work Environment

Professional office/design studio
Standard office equipment such as computers, copy machines, phones, and file cabinets.
Noise level: Low to moderate.
