Standard Sunshade Systems
All REVAMP sunshades, awnings and canopies are delivered pre-finished. Sunshades can be vertical, horizontal (or both!) and can be freestanding or surface-mounted. Finish
REVAMP aluminum sunshades and architectural louvers are finished in PVDF (Kynar). PVDF finishes have 10-year warranties and meet AAMA 2605 specifications.
PVDF is a high-quality finish resistant to chemical and UV damage, creating a long-lasting surface that will retain its superb appearance. Custom colors, color matching and powder coat finishes are also available.
Material
We recommend aluminum for metal sunshades because it is lightweight and reduces load on building structures. Aluminum is also highly resistant to corrosion, which improves product life and durability.
LEED Credits
LEED credits and other green certifications may be available for REVAMP's sun control devices. Daylight and Optimize Energy Performance credits may apply to exterior sun shades, as well as benefits related to recycled content and building life-cycle impact.
